Error opening .ino files

description

Hi Guys hope this is the right place to write this. I have tried different versions of Arduino ide currently using 1.5.6R2 and visual studio 11(2012) I have tried several different versions of Visual Micro all with the same result I have yet to be successful. If I try to open a new or existing sketch It errors out with HRESULT: 0:80004004. What am I missing here I have searched the forum and Google it appears that I am the only one experiencing this problem. I have attached the error screen hopefully I can get this working I have tried for months and just tried again today.

Hi,

The Arduino plugin requires the C++ module to be installed for Visual Studio (see the documentation tab above)

There is a forum at visualmicro.com (see the home tab above)

Thanks

ps:

If you already have C++ installed for VS then ...

Please try to create a normal Visual Studio empty win32 C++ project (not using ATL). You will find that also fails. This is what Visual Micro does to create a new project and the error will be a problem with your VS that Microsoft will help you fix.
