This download is the release candidate for the latest Arduino plugin for Visual Studio and Atmel Studio 6.1.

Also includes beta of support for Arduino 1.5.3 but does not compile 1.5 format libraries yet.

The only difference between between 1305.9 and 1305.9.1 is a minor installer fix. If you have a working 1305.9 then ignore the .1 update. There will be a few updates during the next few days. These will be minor updates that some people will not need. I am unable to switch off automatic notifications so you will get a few annoying emails. Sorry!

Debugger Beta Testers - READ THIS!!

More documentation will follow shortly. The debugger is integrated into this version. You no longer need to re-visit the debugger beta page for additional updates. The debugger can be enabled for 30 Day Trial (Full Version) or purchased using the "Buy" option currently set to 10 GBP. All beta testers will be issued with a free full license key by email shortly (week or two). However, the test license keys generated via paypal are full keys so there is nothing lost by using them.

Paypal License keys for the debugger are emailed after purchase and can then be entered into the first property located under "Tools>Options>Visual Micro>Application Features". If you have not enabled debugging for a project and attempt to enable it, you will be prompted to Try or Buy. The prompt is an alternative way to enter a license key to tools>options. Please test these options thanks!!

Atmel Studio Beta

Important Patch To Enable Arduino Debug In Atmel Studio

The Atmel Studio implementation is very early beta, to use it you must install the latest version of Atmel 6.1 (apr 2013) from the Atmel web site.

Atmel intellisense is not (yet) as responsive to project property changes as VS, if you have made a change to a project such as installing a new library then you should click to save the project, this will force an intellisense refresh. (note: all config settings are shared across all vs and atmel versions)
